The Bosch Smart Home Smart Light/Shutter control unit can be used as a multi-functional device for shading or lighting: It moves shutters, blinds and sun canopies into exactly the position you want by raising/lowering them and tilting them. Alternatively, it can control up to two existing lights independently. You can easily select which option to use during installation. It can be installed behind existing switches, in junction boxes or even outdoors with the help of waterproof installation boxes. There are flexible options for use: you can continue to use the existing switch, or control it via app, timer or automations. It can also be controlled conveniently using voice-activated virtual assistants such as Siri, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It also extends the range of the radio signal for certain Bosch Smart Home devices. Bosch Smart Home Smart Light/Shutter can also be integrated into Apple HomeKit to allow further combination options with other manufacturers.
