Bosch Smart Home Smart Door/Window Contact II Plus reliably detects open doors and windows, and shows their status in the app. It also reacts to slight vibrations thanks to its vibration sensor. This makes it an important part of the alarm system as it raises the alarm even in the event of an attempted break-in, or if someone tries to open a window without permission before windows or doors are ever opened. When the alarm system is activated, it also gives a warning regarding possible security risks owing to windows/doors which have been left open. The integrated button has a number of functions: Using the app, a brief or a long push of the button can be set individually to trigger actions or scenarios. With a double click, the break function can be used. Thanks to this practical feature, the window/door can be opened briefly, e.g. to let the dog out, without the alarm being triggered or the heating turned down. Bosch Smart Home Smart Door/Window Contact II Plus can be integrated into Apple HomeKit, Amazon and Google Home, allowing it to be combined with many compatible devices from other manufacturers.
