When not in use, the gate can be neatly concertinaed, subtly blending in with the look of the family home. To ensure the gate can withstand the attention of the most playful of pets, the gate is made from a highly durable ABS plastic. When in use the gate will remain robustly in place and can withstand any number of hard knocks from even the largest of dog breeds. The gate has been certified to the EN19302011 for Safety Barriers, which includes impact and rattle tests. The gate can be installed from wall to wall, or from the inside or outside of door frames and hallways. If installing at the top of a flight of stairs, ensure a minimum of 13cm space is left between the barrier and the top step. If installing the gate from wall to wall or inside a door frame, the gate will fit all widths from 64.5cm to 89cm. If installing outside a door frame or passageway, the gate fits outside of openings from 55cm to 79.5cm.The gate can be extended with one extension piece, fitting wall to wall or inside a door frame up to 113.5cm, or if installing outside of openings up to 103.5cm.
