K2 PTFE Dry Lubricant 400ml is a silicone-free dry lubricant spray formulated to lubricate and protect moving parts exposed to dust, dirt, water, oil and grease. It leaves a thin, colourless, non-sticky PTFE coating with a low coefficient of friction, providing clean, dry lubrication without attracting contaminants or leaving visible residue. Suitable for use on compatible metal, plastic, ceramic, wood and other surfaces, it is ideal for applications where conventional oils or greases may collect dust or debris. The lubricant has a wide operating temperature range of -180°C to +260°C and is suitable for gate guides, door runners, seat rails, rollers, slides, conveyor components, window mechanisms, furniture hinges, plastic bearings and other compatible low-friction mechanisms. The PTFE film helps displace dust, moisture and dirt while supporting protection against corrosion, water, oil and mild acidic or alkaline conditions. To apply, shake the can thoroughly before use, ensure the surface is clean and free from loose contamination, then spray a thin, even coating onto the required area. Allow the carrier to evaporate, leaving a dry PTFE lubricating film. Always test on a small inconspicuous area before use, particularly on delicate plastics, painted or coated surfaces, or components that will later be painted, bonded or otherwise finished.
