Pool Power pH reducing Granules are used to reduce the pH and total alkalinity in your pool and spa water. Generally in chlorine treated water the pH should be between 7.2 and 7.6. When treated with bromine the pH should be between 7.4 and 7.6. This product should be used by means of an appropriate dosing device, or be dissolved in a plastic bucket filled with water, prior to being poured onto the water surface. 80g or 50ml of this product in 10m3 of water will decrease the pH by 0.1. Do not add more than 300g per 10m3 of water during each treatment. This product can also be used to reduce the Total Alkalinity level in the pool water. To decrease the TA in 10m2 of water by 10ppm, 180g should be dosed into the pool water.
