Nikwax Tech Wash is a technical cleaner designed for waterproof clothing and equipment. It helps remove dirt and residues that can reduce the performance of breathable fabrics. By clearing contaminants, it supports durable water repellency and maintains the ability of materials to allow moisture vapor to pass through. The cleaner is suitable for a wide range of waterproof, windproof and fleece garments, as well as synthetic sleeping bags. It can be used in a washing machine or applied by hand to ensure fabrics are thoroughly cleaned without leaving water attracting residues. Regular cleaning with Nikwax Tech Wash helps garments continue to shed water by revitalising existing water repellency. When water no longer beads on the surface after cleaning, the item can then be reproofed with an appropriate treatment. This product has been developed specifically for breathable waterproof fabrics and provides an effective way to maintain comfort and performance during use in wet conditions.
