Boasting great eco-credentials, this Tawny Owl Nest Box has been designed and made in the UK from recycled plastic and waste wood. The wood is sourced from waste and saplings during the management of forests. It is formed into Oriented Strand Board then used to make the nesting chamber. The outer shell is made from recycled plastic, much of which is collected from British farms rather than going to landfills. This is processed into sheets and UV stabilised before being precision cut and held together with an ingenious system of tabs, to avoid the use of fixings that may cause rust.
