Blooming April-May when planted August - December, this variety of tulip never goes unnoticed. The long lasting blossoms and bright vibrant colours grow up to 35cm -50cm tall. Supplied in a range of bulb sizes ranging between 10/11cm, provides spectacular blooms of colour especially planted with a mass or even mixed with other flowering bulbs. For best visual impact it is recommended to plant in groups 6 or more bulbs with a 10cm spacing between each bulb. Tulips are erect flowers with long, broad, parallel-veined leaves and a cup-shaped, single or double flower at the tip of the stem. The best types of tulips for attracting bees are found in varying shades of violet. Bees are able to see the ultraviolet rays these petals produce when reflected in the sun. Tulips can be kept in the soil all year round to re-flower the following year.
