Our vermiculite for plants promotes optimal conditions for quick and healthy root development. This naturally occurring mineral lets roots easily access nutrients, oxygen, moisture and maintain even temperatures. This fine grade 0-3mm vermiculite is free from pests, weeds, and diseases. Perfect as a houseplant compost amendment, or as a standalone soil replacer for a cactus potting mix, it creates an ideal texture promoting fast rooting. This non-toxic, pH neutral vermiculite enhances your potting soil mixes. Bulk out soil or compost mixes while reducing overall weight, creating more room for heavy roots to grow. Introducing more oxygen into the mix, the coarse texture traps nutrients and moisture, feeding them to plants when needed.
