Helleborus Christmas Carol (also known as Christmas Rose) adds a stunning touch to your winter garden with its gleaming white flowers that bloom from late December through to spring. This shade-tolerant perennial is ideal for brightening areas under trees or shrubs with low light. Its evergreen foliage provides year-round texture and color, making it perfect for creating ground cover or for winter pot combinations with spring bulbs. Hellebores prefer moist, humus-rich, fertile soil in dappled shade, and should be mulched each spring with well-rotted manure or garden compost. These plants are low-maintenance but may require lifting and dividing when overcrowded after flowering.
