This hardy climber flourishes best in a sheltered location, ideally close to the house where its beautiful winter flowers can be seen through the window. When planting, choose a sunny or semi-shady spot with moist, fertile, well-drained soil, and make sure to train the plant on a trellis or climbing frame for support.
