The worker ants are attracted to the station where they eat the bait and transport it back to the nest. The next-generation bait formula contains both a systematic insecticide and an insect growth regulator. The systematic insecticide has a delayed action that allows it to be distributed throughout the colony before activation. The insect growth repellent ensures that larvae are prevented from reaching maturity. This two-stage action breaks the lifecycle and eliminates the infestation with a long-lasting effect.
