Dwarf Apricot 'Tros Orange' produces small, delicious apricots in mid-summer, ideal for eating fresh, jams and desserts. Grown as a Patio Mini Stem, this tree reaches about 2m high and suits containers and small gardens when planted in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-draining soil. Supplied as a 5L potted tree ready to plant, it is self-fertile and pollinator friendly. Prune the head after fruiting to maintain its well-branched shape, avoiding heavy pruning in autumn or winter to reduce disease risk. Planting: set at the same level as in the pot, use a good loam-based compost for containers or mix well-rotted manure into the planting hole in the ground, and water thoroughly after planting.
