The Actiasbee National cedar beehive with gabled roof is a complete hive setup designed for beekeeping use in gardens and apiaries. Manufactured from durable cedar wood, the hive offers natural resistance to weathering and is suitable for long-term outdoor use. This National hive includes a brood box and two super boxes, providing space for colony development and honey storage. All boxes are fitted with metal runners, helping to protect the wood and improve durability during regular hive inspections and frame handling. An entrance block with summer and winter openings is included to help manage hive ventilation and access throughout the seasons. The kit also features a queen excluder, allowing separation of the brood chamber from the honey supers, and a crown board with cut-outs for porter bee escapes to assist with hive management. The gabled roof with aluminium cover provides additional protection from rain and weather exposure, helping to extend the lifespan of the hive. Supplied either flat packed or assembled depending on selection, with instructions included for setup. Please note: Glue, nails, frames, wax foundation and bees are not included.
