Most memory foam traps warmth against you as it moulds - here a layer of cooling gel sits above and below the memory foam, so heat is drawn away from the surface and from the core rather than building up through the night. The visco-elastic foam responds to body heat and moulds to your shape, supporting the spine and neck and easing pressure at the shoulders and hips. Its open-cell structure lets air circulate freely, and a high-density reflex base underneath holds you level. The foam is CertiPUR certified, meaning it is independently tested and free from heavy metals and dyes. Both the materials and the mattress itself are made here in Britain, in a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Yorkshire, and the whole mattress is tested to UK fire safety regulations. The soft knit cover unzips completely and machine washes.
