It is the first fixed double-duct air conditioner to use R290 propane gas, offering impressive cooling and heating capacity while maintaining a low environmental impact. The unit offers four control methods to suit different user needs. These include an enlarged remote control for intuitive operation and onboard controls that provide full access to all functions, including a lock feature to prevent misuse and the ability to set a weekly schedule. Additionally, a mobile app enables remote management via WiFi—for example, allowing a hotel reception desk to control multiple units from a central location. Optional integration with building management systems (BMS) is also available for more advanced setups. The R290 propane gas used in the Vision Compact has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 3, in stark contrast to R410a (GWP 2088) and R32 (GWP 675), making it a significantly more environmentally responsible choice. The easy-to-use app displays the current temperature and allows users to adjust the temperature, fan speed, and airflow direction from anywhere at the touch of a button. In applications such as hotels, reception staff can activate, control, or deactivate units in each room depending on occupancy. Rooms can be pre-heated or pre-cooled before guest arrival and turned off when unoccupied, saving energy and reducing operational costs. Unlike conventional air conditioning systems that require unsightly external condensers and visible cabling or pipework, the Vision Compact features an inbuilt condenser. This ensures a minimal external visual impact and reduces redecoration costs both inside and outside the building. And with no outdoor condenser in sight, it is ideal for hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues—including listed buildings where external modifications are restricted.
