A 1.6 litre soup maker and smoothie blender that cooks and blends in one jug, turning fresh ingredients into homemade soup in under 30 minutes with no pans to wash. Six programmes cover smooth soup, chunky soup, smoothies, compote, blending and keep-warm, so it doubles as an everyday blender for fruit smoothies and sauces. The transparent, shatterproof and BPA-free jug lets you see exactly what is happening, and the stainless steel blade makes short work of vegetables, fruit and ice. A control panel with a four-digit display counts down each programme, and a memory function pauses cooking for up to a minute so you can add ingredients part way through. Intelligent control prevents dry burning, and overfill and overspill detection keep cooking safe. The 1.6 litre capacity makes enough for four to six bowls, ideal for family meals and batch cooking.
