The AREBOS Food Dehydrator is an 800-watt appliance for drying fruit, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, meat and fish at home. A fan circulates hot air evenly through the 29-litre stainless steel chamber, so all twelve removable trays dry at the same rate. The temperature can be set anywhere between 30 and 85 degrees Celsius, which makes the dehydrator equally suitable for delicate herbs and for homemade beef jerky, while gentle drying helps to preserve the natural flavour and nutrients of the food. All settings are entered on a touch control panel with a digital display. The built-in timer runs for up to 24 hours and switches the appliance off automatically once the selected drying time has elapsed, so there is no need to watch over it. An LED light inside the chamber allows you to check on progress at a glance, and overheat protection shuts the unit down if the temperature rises too far. The housing and the trays are made of stainless steel, and the double-walled construction distributes heat evenly while keeping the noise level to around 45 to 50 decibels. The dehydrator is supplied with twelve stainless steel trays, a drip tray and a five-piece silicone accessory set, so that purées, small pieces and loose herbs can be dried just as easily as sliced fruit.
