    Payroll Administrator

As a result of our expansion plans and our continued ongoing success we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Payroll Administrator to work within our busy Payroll Department.

     

    About the Role:

    This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to assist in the day-to-day payroll duties working closely alongside Payroll Manager and Assistant Payroll Manager.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Knowledge of Statutory payments (SSP SMP SPP Tax NI) for the day-to-day payroll processes
    • Assisting in annual auditor checks
    • Knowledge of HMRC PSA Agreements and P11D’s preferable
    • Knowledge of Salary sacrifice schemes
    • Good communication and Data entry skills
    • Strong Excel Skills
    • Good eye for detail
    • Adhere to the confidentiality policy/GDPR.
    • Work to strict deadlines
    • Able to work as part of a team but also be able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload.
    • Flexible and able to adapt to other office duties.

     

    Person Specification:

    We are looking to appoint a Payroll Administrator who must have prior payroll experience of working in a dedicated team and have been involved in day-to-day processing of data. This will be a challenging, yet highly rewarding role that will operate within a fast-paced environment. You will have:

    • Up to date knowledge of using IT computer systems.
    • The ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels
    • Strong excel skills
    • A good eye for detail.
    • The ability to work to strict deadlines.
    • A strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR.
    • Excellent teamwork, plus the ability to work on your own initiative.
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.

    Experience of using Zellis Resource link payroll software and UKG workforce management packages would be advantageous.
