    Compliance Executive

    As a result of our continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Compliance Executive to be based at our London Great Portland Street Office.

     

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Executive to support the smooth operation of our Marketplace function. Reporting to the Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead, you will play a key role in seller compliance, operational monitoring, reporting and administrative support. Working closely with internal teams and marketplace sellers, you will help maintain compliance standards, monitor performance and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Marketplace.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct seller due diligence and compliance checks to ensure marketplace standards are met.
    • Monitor seller accounts and identify potential compliance, operational or performance risks.
    • Escalate compliance concerns and operational issues to relevant stakeholders where required.
    • Maintain accurate seller records, operational trackers and supporting documentation.
    • Produce regular reports covering seller performance, compliance metrics and operational activity.
    • Monitor order performance, cancellations and customer service metrics, highlighting trends and issues.
    • Support product and catalogue audits, ensuring marketplace content remains accurate and compliant.
    • Monitor seller stock availability and fulfilment performance.
    • Maintain and update reporting tools, spreadsheets and dashboards.
    • Manage and respond to tickets and enquiries through Zendesk and other marketplace systems.
    • Assist with seller onboarding and marketplace setup activities.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve seller queries and operational challenges.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency.
    • Provide general administrative support to the wider Marketplace team.
    • Handle seller, customer and business information securely and in accordance with data protection requirements.

     

    Person Specification:

    Essential

    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
    • Experience working with data, reporting and administrative processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, look-ups and data analysis.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and accuracy.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    • Interest in eCommerce, marketplaces and online retail.

    Desired

    • Previous experience in a compliance, operations, administration or marketplace support role.
    • Experience working within an eCommerce, retail or marketplace environment.
    • Familiarity with marketplace platforms and seller operations.
    • Experience using Zendesk or similar ticket management systems.
    • Experience working with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
    • Knowledge of seller compliance, onboarding or operational monitoring processes.
    • Experience conducting audits, data analysis or performance reporting.
    • Understanding of data protection and information security requirements.

    Position: Permanent, Full-time

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.

    Location: London & Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite.
