    CRM Executive

    About the Role:

    We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented CRM Executive to primarily manage the Homebase CRM channels, focusing on email and SMS marketing. You will be an essential part of our busy marketing team, working closely with internal design, retail marketing, and digital trade teams to deliver impactful CRM campaigns. This role involves full-cycle CRM marketing — from strategy execution and creative briefing to campaign build and optimisation.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and execute homebase.co.uk and homebase.ie CRM email and SMS campaigns end-to-end, including campaign scheduling and sending.
    • Build and test compelling email and SMS communications using our CRM platform.
    • Develop and maintain targeted customer segments to maximise campaign relevance and effectiveness.
    • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Create detailed briefs for internal and external creative teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign objectives are met.
    • Monitor campaign performance and user engagement, running continuous A/B tests to optimise open rates, click-throughs, conversions, and automated flows.
    • Analyse data to optimise automated customer journeys and flows, ensuring they are relevant and drive revenue.
    • Collaborate closely with the Group CRM Manager to support wider CRM strategy, including email, SMS, and push notification channels.
    • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals, timing, and messaging.
    • Keep up to date with industry best practices, new technologies, and compliance standards (including GDPR) for CRM communications.

     

    Person Specification:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CRM/Email Marketing
    • Knowledge of GA and other online marketing tools preferable.
    • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with accountability for delivering campaigns on time
    • Ability to analyse and adapt marketing activity based on sales results
    • Be confident and precise in communicating verbally and through email with team members, other departments and other key stakeholders
