The Blenheim Taper Tray is a full depth inset fire designed to fit a standard chair brick (also commonly referred to as a fire back). Chair bricks are popular in older homes with a class 1 brick chimney, originally used for burning solid fuel. The Tray requires a min. 178mm / 7" pre-fabricated flue system or conventional brick chimney. It is classed as a Decorative Gas Fire (DGF) and is capable of providing up to 2.4kW heat output (Gross). The fire produces a lovely full depth flame picture however, as this is an open fronted fire placed within a chair brick (without a modern firebox).
