If you like to be organised and prepared, we've compiled a handy list of accessories to keep in your bag to ensure you're ready for anything the day may throw at you.
Keys: An absolute essential, nothing is worse than getting locked out of your home in the cold or rain. Adding a cute keyring to your keys is a great way to ensure they’re easy to grab from your bag.
Protection from the elements: Make sure you're prepared for whatever the British weather may throw at you. If it rains, it’s great to have an umbrella or Pac-a-Mac in your bag to keep you dry. Sun cream will keep you protected from any unexpected harmful rays. A hat will make a versatile addition to your bag; it will help keep the rain off your hair and provide you with shade from the sun.
Purse or wallet: even if you’re not planning on buying anything, it’s always a good idea to have your purse or wallet on you containing your money, cards and ID.
Handheld fan: Perfect for the warmer months, if you get too hot a handheld fan will help you cool down quickly and easily.
Sunglasses: Whether it’s hot or cold, you never know when the sun may make an appearance. Make sure you’re always prepared by always having a pair of sunglasses in your bag, so you don’t need to worry about getting blinded by the sun.
Water bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the day by keeping a water bottle on you. This will also stop you from being tempted to buy drinks whilst out and about if you get thirsty.
Electronics: Most people find it hard to go the day without having their phone and earphones or headphones on them. If you're going to be out for a long day, having a portable charger on you is a great idea, just in case you get the dreaded no battery notification.
Reusable bag or tote: Excellent for unexpected purchases and quick trips to the shop, having a compact, foldaway tote in your bag will help the environment and your pocket as you won’t have to buy plastic bags when out.
