Here at ‘The Range’ we’re committed to searching out the best possible products at the best prices, but they must also be simple and easy to use, this is especially true with our range of DIY products. We also understand that sometimes what should be a simple and enjoyable DIY task doesn’t always go according to plan, taking much longer to achieve a nice finish than it should so new products also need to be time saving.

This is especially true with one of the most dreaded DIY tasks, ‘re-siliconing’ a kitchen worktop or bath for example, and what should be a simple case of removing and re-placing old mouldy silicone can quickly turn into a bit of a nightmare. We’ve all been there with a sharp knife trying to strip away the old sealant, being very careful not to damage anything. Then once the old is removed, carefully trying to re-apply the nice new sealant……… It should be so simple



But this is what normally happens:
You squeeze in the new silicone then attempt to smooth it out with the very tried and tested ‘wet finger’ method and we all know what happens next, smudges, smears and swearing and lots of kitchen roll. What should’ve taken a few minutes, turns into a complete disaster. You can sometimes look like you’ve been ‘tarred and feathered’ with wet silicone and tissue paper stuck all over yourself and everywhere else.
